Geeta Chanting Competition @ NESSS

The preliminary round of the Bhagavad Geeta Chanting Competition 2026, featuring Chapter 12, was conducted at New Era Senior Secondary School in collaboration with Chinmaya Mission for students from FS2 to SS1.

The competition provided students an opportunity to develop devotion, spiritual awareness, and a deeper connection with their cultural heritage through the recitation of sacred shlokas.

The Chief Guest, Swamiji Deveshananda, encouraged students to practise chanting shlokas regularly, highlighting its role in enhancing cognitive abilities and mental agility.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from 170 students, all of whom were presented with certificates. Mrs. Leena Nair, Principal, NESSS, appreciated the sincere efforts and performances of the participants. She also commended Mrs. Samruddha Marathe for her meticulous planning and coordination, which contributed significantly to the smooth and successful execution of the event.
