Plastic Waste Collection Drive
New Era successfully organized a Plastic Waste Collection Drive in the month of July. The initiative was led by the students of the Interact Club and SDG Club with great enthusiasm and responsibility.
Students collected single-use plastic, wrappers, and bottles from classrooms, playground, and surrounding areas. Each and every students have contributed in this program to make our earth plastic free.22kgs of collected waste was segregated and handed to the plastic recycling factory for recycling.
The drive aimed to create awareness about plastic pollution and promote sustainable habits under SDG 12 – Responsible Consumption and SDG 13 – Climate Action.
The school appreciates the efforts of all student volunteers for making the campus cleaner and greener.
