- Mock Evacuation Drills Also Tread on These Words for Safer Outcomes.

NESSS has always been proactive in taking precautions and ensuring the safety of students and staff.

Keeping this in mind the school organized 

a mock evacuation drill to sensitize, facilitate and train the students and teachers/ staff for safe and systematic evacuation from the school building and to avoid injuries in case of any emergency or disaster.

The consolidated plan for the same was chalked out and executed under the guidance of School safety & security team of Mr Nilesh Gregor, Mr. Hitesh Upadhyay, Mr Alok Mosan and Miss Prarthna Barad along with the assistance of other teachers. Prior to the session the students were sensitized about the significance of the drill. Students were brainstormed about following protocols in case of contingency situation. This included briefing on the evacuation map placed in each of the classrooms. A run-through of individual classes was also undertaken to acquaint each member about their individual response strategies. These included abandoning the school building, seeking shelter and following specific instructions from teachers and emergency responders.

Thus, the mock evacuation drill was an endeavor to train the students and the Staff to develop the necessary skills and procure knowledge to respond effectively in case of a disaster.
