NEW ERAITES celebrated the 74th Republic Day with great zeal and vigour in presence of the honourable Chief Guest Dr Parul Patel (The School Managing Trustee & Vice President- Parul university), parents, students, the teaching and the non-teaching staff. The students took pride in glorifying and celebrating the spirit of unity and brotherhood. The event began with the hoisting of the Indian National Flag by the Chief Guest of the day followed by the National Anthem. The school echoed with patriotic fervour as the children sang patriotic songs and enacted a very powerful skit on Kalibai, a student freedom fighter. The tribal dance of the dang district performed by the seniors added a sparkle to the programme. The Chief Guest in her address highlighted the significance of the day, and made the children aware that the future of their country lies in their hands. Hence they need to study well now and inculcate good values in life, which will help them to be good citizens of the country. The Principal in her speech talked about the feat that India has achieved of heading the G20 Presidency this year and that the students should celebrate this achievement by hosting different events related to G20. The programme ended with Vande Matram and distribution of sweets.
