A Vibrant Celebration Igniting the Vision of Viksit Bharat

On 15th August, the NESSS ground pulsated with patriotic energy as students gathered to witness the flag hoisting ceremony, led by our esteemed heads. The air resonated with the soul-stirring national anthem followed by the flag song. Thus, igniting a deep sense of national pride in every heart present there.

This year's celebration was particularly special, as it embraced the theme of "Viksit Bharat" (Developed India). The splash of celebration included - a drama paying tribute to the woman of courage Rani Durgavati, a euphonious patriotic song ‘HUM HINDUSTANI’ recreated and written by the school maestro Mr. Abhijit Khandekar, a compelling student speech by the Vice-Head Girl, Maitry Amreliya and the day reached its pinnacle with an inspiring address by the Principal, Madam Leena Nair. Her words resonated with the audience, motivating students to not only cherish our hard-won freedom but also to actively contribute to India's ongoing journey of development.

The school corridors transformed into a mesmerizing gallery, adorned with hanging displays, intricate drawings, and artistic masterpieces crafted by our talented students and the Art Department. Each piece beautifully depicted the richness of India's culture and heritage, serving as a visual reminder of our nation's progress and potential.

The "Har Ghar Tiranga" (Tricolor in Every Home) campaign saw enthusiastic participation from our students. They actively shared pictures on the school's WhatsApp groups, proudly displaying the national flag at their homes. This digital showcase of patriotism connected the school community even as we celebrated from different locations.

The 78th Independence Day extravaganza at NESSS was a seamless blend of traditional observances with modern participation methods. This truly embodied the spirit of a developing India – rooted in its rich past while embracing the promise of tomorrow for every New Eraite.
