AVISHKAR at NESSS: A Trailblazing Innovation and Technology Exhibition!

New Eraites sparkled their new academic year with innovative ideas demonstrated through experiments and models in its first Mega event – AVISHKAR, a Science and Technology based exhibition cum competition. A whopping number of 1000 plus New Eraites from PS1 to SS 4 donned the avatar of budding scientists and innovators in this scientific extravaganza. The main purpose of this display cum contest was to inspire students to use their idea that will solve the issues crippling the planet and to use science for a progressive nation. It was also to uncover the hidden talents of students and offer them exclusive practical learning experiences that combine various skills - such as critical thinking, problem-solving, data analysis, computer science, and public speaking - into a single project.

The AVISHKAR exhibition showcased a diverse array of projects by NESSS students, ranging from solar car, Electric battery charging station, electrolysis and water purification to space stations and rocket launchers. Through hands-on learning experiences, the pupils demonstrated not only technical skills but also presented simple yet plausible solutions to real-world challenges. The exhibition found the presence of Dr. Geetika Madan Patel, the Managing Trustee, who showed keen interest and interacted with confident students as they explained their intricate projects and experiments displayed in the vibrant classrooms. The exhibition received expert evaluation from judges Dr. Kukoo Mukherjee, AVV’s PGT Physics, Dr. Sonal Prakashkar, AVV’s PGT Biology, Ms.Seema Kadri, AVV’s PGT Chemistry, Mr. Nikhil Jumde, Incubation Manager at PU and Mr. Prashant Khanna, Incubation Manager at PU alongside New Era teachers, inspiring and motivating participants.

 The Science exhibition was attended by a large number of parents who enjoyed and appreciated the pupils’ work on display. The positive reviews from parents and visitors were a testament to the hard work, creativity, and dedication of New Eraites. Kudos to the pillar of strength- the Principal, Mrs. Leena Nair, the genius mentors of the Science Department, and the unwavering support of New Era Faculty, and Staff for making this event a grand success.
