Magic Unveils at NESSS Junior Annual Concert ‘Open Sesame’ - A Dazzling Evening of Music, Dance and Drama
New Era Productions put up a grandiose theatrical performance in its Junior Annual Concert (FS4 to PS2) based on the theme of ‘Open Sesame’ (Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves) on the 17th February 2024. The Mystical Tale was retold and showcased in a new avatar.
Underneath a tapestry of twinkling stars, the stage radiated the brilliance of New Eraites' in the musical drama. The School President, Dr Devanshu Patel graced the occasion to boost the spirits of the participants and even felicitated the meritorious students for excellence in Academics and Co-Scholastics. The New Era stalwart and Director Mrs Priyadarshinin Kelkar’s presence called for cheers in the audience.
Under the magical command of 'Open Sesame,' the New Era team led by the School Principal Mrs Leena Nair orchestrated a mesmerizing spectacle entirely in-house, featuring the talents of over 600 participating students. The show served as a platform not just for entertainment but as a valuable on-site training ground for students.
From colourful props, shimmering costumes, power packed acting, excellent compering , musical score, computer graphics, to entertaining dances, all were coordinated and executed to great finesse by New Era teams comprising of facilitators and students. The stage became a captivating canvas and turned the event into a visual masterpiece for the parents who turned up in large numbers as always to boost the morale of the students.
The event was marked by Dr Devanshu Patel unveiling the session’s final edition of school e-magazine ‘Kaleidoscope’. The programme culminated with the National Anthem.
