Pet's Day Out @ Newerapreschool

The lush green garden of our school was effervescent with excitement and inquisitiveness with the visit of some gorgeous pet animals like turtles; few breeds of dogs –like a Pug, Doberman, French Mastiff, German shepherd, Great Dane, Beagle; Love birds; a Cockatiel, and gold fish. The main objective of organizing Pet Day was to bring an awareness and create a sense of responsibility in the minds of our tiny tots on how we need to love and care for other living beings. Few enthusiastic parents having pets at home took some time out from their busy schedule to let our young learners have a hands-on experience and provided information about the food the pets ate and the kind of care that was given to them at home. The learners were excited and thrilled to touch the animals and observe their movement and behaviour. They were curious to know more about the pets and clarified their doubts with the parents.
