77th Independence Day Celebrations Unfurl at NESSS

Rise to Be Responsible towards the Nation – Lead Not to FEAR but to CHANGE 

The freedom festivities to hail the 77th Independence Day were conducted at NESSS with great ardor, dignity and zeal. The delightful morning saw the tricolor hoisted by the Chief Guest - Colonel Abhishek Pathania, Colonel and Administrator, EME School, the school Managing Trustee - Dr. Geetika Madan Patel, Principal - Mrs. Leena Nair, Headmistress, New Era Pre-School – Mrs Deepa Garg and Physical Education trainers.

The ambience was filled with the fervor of patriotic rhythm and flushed in the hues of tricolor. Every young mind was rejuvenated to be a part of the grand celebration that was marked by some great speeches both from student pupil Amogh Bhamerkar and dynamic leaders. They inspired the youngistan to be responsible at the same time Face Everything And Rise (FEAR) to take charge of India that is striding onto the world stage.

The motivational words of the dignitaries flared the fire of responsibilities within the hearts of all New Eraites, fostering a spirit of determination and resilience.

The event also witnessed the most ceremonial occasion ‘Investiture Ceremony’ of the School Council Body for the year 2023-24. The Cabinet Members were entrusted with hope, faith and the mantle of responsibility to be the voice of change for New Eraites. With its grandeur and solemnity, the Investiture Ceremony served as a platform to recognise and instill a sense of pride and accountability among the recipients.

The spellbound performances of the patriotic songs by the choir and musical drama on the valorous life of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj by New Eraites left the audience spellbound.

The aura was filled with the cheers of ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ and the ceremony ended with distribution of signature sweet dish – Mohanthal by the school.

NESSS extends gratitude to the esteemed guests, the students and parent fraternity for their whole-hearted participation in the festival of India’s Independence.
