Imparting education through sports allows children to better engage with the learning process and bring out effective educational outcomes. With this thought, New Era Preschool organised their sports day on the theme let’s preserve our lifelines: Rivers that aimed to sensitise the kids towards the rivers of India and save our depleting resource, through the medium of sports.
The event started by offering prayers to rivers of India as they are considered sacred and treated as goddess. The mass displays presented by Nursery, LKG and UKG class in form of well-coordinated dance movements gave the message that the rivers nurtured and nourished us for thousands of years and now it is time we nurture and nourish them back to health.
Students carried out a rally that urged all to preserve our lifeline, the majestic rivers of India and care for our natural resource judiciously.
Children participated in races that gave the message that we need to get together, take actions to keep the rivers clean, plant more trees and do our job to save our rivers.
It surely was a day of participation, fun and lots of learning!
