The 28th CBSE National Annual Conference of Sahodaya School Complexes was hosted under the flagship the Gyan Sarovar – The Central Gujarat Sahodaya Schools Complex (Vadodara) on 18th and 19th November on the theme Education 4.0- Reinventing Education for 2030 and Beyond. 

This dream project was brought into reality by  Mrs Priyadarshini Kelkar, Director – NESSS, who is also the Chairperson of Gyan Sarovar Sahodaya and the core team members who are the Principals of reputed schools. It was an honour for our Principal Mrs Leena Nair who is  also the  Secretary, Gyan Sarovar Sahodaya, to share the dias with the the  galaxy of stars from the CBSE as well as give the welcome address. The inaugural session of the mega event saw Mrs Nidhi Chibber, Chairperson, CBSE throw light on the resurgence of the changing times in the field of education. She emphasised the role of school heads and administrators on becoming torchbearers of NEP 2020 to help change the face of school education in India.  Other CBSE dignitaries – Sh Anurag Tripathi, Secretary CBSE, Dr. Joseph Emmanuel, Director Academics, Dr, Sanyam Bhardwaj, Controller of Examination, Dr. Biswajit Saha, Director Skill Education, Dr Ram Shankar, Director Training, Mrs Rama Sharma, Director Media and PR gave their vital inputs on the futuristic approach to NEP 2020. Our trustee Dr. Geetika Madan Patel, a true educationist and a visionary also graced the occasion and interacted with the CBSE Chairperson Mrs Nidhi Chibber and other officials on the new policies brought forth by the CBSE. She also praised the teachers and students for their efforts and meticulous planning in putting up the art integration and the best practises stall. Mrs Rashmi Patel  our Secondary Section English teacher was the Master of the ceremony.

The National Conference was an enriching experience for 800 plus principals and leaders from across the country & abroad. A lineage of eminent speakers and experts hooked the participants via their engrossing sessions.

Team New Era garnered great adulation in the exhibitions on Art Integration and Best Practices from the CBSE officials and visitors. The colourful display of novel ideas and models catapult the crowds towards the stalls. CBSE officials interacted with New Eraites and applauded them for the exceptional display of ideas and confidence. A plethora of ideas based on the latest educational trends were presented by the pupils.
